The ombre brows are the most recent PMU eyebrow style. While the ombre hair trend gave way to balayage a few years ago, ombre brows are making a comeback. And it’s fantastic!
Ombre brows are more subtle than the former ombre hair trend, so they’re not as noticeable. The brow starts out pale and darkens as it approaches the tip. Your brows will appear bigger and more defined as a result of this. Of course, you can draw your own brows, but how lovely is it to wake up with these gorgeous brows? It saves you fifteen to thirty minutes in the morning!
Ombre brows, like microblading, are a semi-permanent make-up procedure that lasts roughly three years before totally disappearing. Do you want to stay on top of your brow game? Then, around once a year, have your brows refreshed.
What’s the difference between Ombre and Microblading?
Microblading is a “hair” method that involves producing small scratches in the skin’s top layer and applying colour. This is still the greatest option for persons who have a sufficient number of their own hairs. Ombre, on the other hand, is more of a shadow method created by a “pricking movement.” This technique is frequently used by those who have little or no hair of their own.
Combining these two procedures is the most common method for getting the best results. The combination allows me to place little hair, dubbed Microblading, on the front and then switch to Ombre for a fuller result.
Ombre is appropriate for who?
• Adjusting / perfecting the existing eyebrow shape
• Thickening of existing thin eyebrows
• Thin eyebrows caused by years of repeated plucking
• Correcting asymmetry
• Active lifestyle
• Difficulty applying normal make-up
• Desire to look fresh every moment and look well-groomed
• Chemotherapy or Alopecia
• Scars
How long will you be able to see the result?
Permanent make-up can last anywhere from 12 to 24 months, depending on the zone and procedures employed. The shelf life is also affected by your skin type, care habits, lifestyle, and the amount and frequency with which you expose your skin to the sun / tanning bed.
If you have oily skin, the pigment may not be absorbed into the skin and so will not produce the intended effect. The pigments may also be visible for longer periods of time. The term “semi-permanent” does not imply that all pigment will vanish completely.
Even after years, it’s possible that (some) color can be observed. You can easily preserve the results by having “maintenance” done as soon as the pigments / color start to fade.
